IN EVENT OF BAD WEATHER

 

The safety of our students and their families is an important concern to us at ELITE KARATE & FITNESS.  Because of these safety concerns, certain bad weather conditions may cause the school, or facility that we are using, to be closed.  If the weather is threatening, please don’t risk your family’s safety. 

 

ELITE KARATE & FITNESS is CLOSED in the event of the following weather conditions during our class hours: TORNADO WATCH, TORNADO WARNING, and SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING OR WINTER STORM WARNING.  If you have any question whether the school is open or not, please feel free to call the school at 616-458-4345.

 

 

HOLIDAYS

ELITE KARATE & FITNESS is closed on major holidays such as New Years Day, Memorial Day, Good Friday, Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.  A notice will be posted well in advance on our calendar of a holiday to notify our students if the school will be closed.  We will try and accommodate by adding in additional training days to make up for time lost. 

 

Please note that there are also those circumstances that come up where the dojo may be closed due to facility improvements, building structure issues, emergency situations with the owners, seminars, sickness of teachers, and or community programs.  In these situations, we will try our hardest to call, or notify our students.  We do not plan on these types of emergencies but understand that all businesses deal with situations and will do our best to contact you.
